I am privileged to have in my collection the 2 featured E.T. CLIFFORD gin bottles on this page. The left bottle advertises a HOOPOE bird  in the seal and the bottle on the right advertises a STORK feeding 3 young birds. Enthusiasts will recognize that these birds are also Trade Marks of gin distiller J. VAN DER VALK & Co, so it begs the question as to what connection existed between the 2 companies utilising the same Trade Marks. Unfortunately, there are no records or information available at this stage to verify any relationship between the companies.
